Ingredients
For the Crust:
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs (or crushed digestive biscuits)
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
For the Cheesecake Filling:
- 16 oz (450g) cream cheese (softened)
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup Nutella (slightly warmed)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Crust
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Line an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the pan.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes, then let it cool slightly.
Step 2: Make the Cheesecake Filling
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in vanilla extract and sour cream until fully combined.
Step 3: Add the Nutella Swirl
- Pour the cheesecake batter over the cooled crust, spreading evenly.
- Drizzle the warmed Nutella over the top and use a toothpick or knife to swirl it into the batter.
Step 4: Bake & Cool
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is slightly jiggly.
- Let it cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight).
Step 5: Slice & Serve
- Once fully chilled, cut into bars and enjoy!
